A Landmark Investment: JW Marriott Auckland Officially Opens
A proud milestone for Nāti Growth has been reached with the official opening of the JW Marriott Auckland, a landmark investment in our commercial property portfolio.
The luxury hotel, located in the heart of downtown Auckland, has undergone an extensive multi-million-dollar transformation to become the first JW Marriott in Aotearoa.
“We co-invested into the JW Marriott as part of our long-term strategy to grow and diversify the Nāti Growth property portfolio with high-quality, resilient assets in order to grow our returns and distributions to the iwi” said Henare Walker, CEO of Nāti Growth. “It’s exciting to finally see it all completed and to witness the transformation of this site into a world-class hotel that will attract both international visitors and New Zealanders alike. This best-in-class asset is not only a strong commercial investment, it also reflects our commitment to creating enduring value for Ngati Porou.”
What's been happening on our Farms this June
Winter has arrived on the farms as we mark Matariki and the shortest day of
the year.
Farm managers are planning for the coldest months of the year, looking after our pregnant cows and ewes, and managing our grass through till spring. The Angus bull sales will be a highlight for June with people coming from all over the country to purchase the renowned East Coast Angus genetics and enjoying the region's hospitality along the way.
