The Fibre Room is our space to share the art we love. We’re both weavers who enjoy creating and teaching different aspects of raranga. Alongside our weaving, we offer floristry services, including event styling, floral installations, and art rentals. When we can, we also sell our art, prints, and jewellery through our website: thefibreroom.com.
Our whanau have been big supporters of our new business since we launched at the end of January 2025. Because our work is heavily reliant on natural materials like, harakeke, foliage for florals and different shapes and sizes of hue, my dad in particular has been instrumental in helping to grow, harvest and process a lot of these materials for both mum and I.

We’ve also been lucky to have extended whānau and friends backing us every step of the way. Whether it's being guinea pigs for future workshops, offering emotional support, or helping spread the word, their awhi has meant everything.
