Nāti Growth invests in Mainland Poultry

Nā

Nāti Growth has invested in Mainland Poultry, further diversifying its investment portfolio and strengthening the long-term economic base of Ngāti Porou.

The investment gives Nāti Growth exposure to one of New Zealand’s leading food production businesses.

Mainland is New Zealand’s largest egg producer and supplier, with operations spanning the full value chain from feed production to national retail distribution. The company through its well-established brands supply eggs across free-range, barn and colony formats, operating farms across the North and South Islands, and has established relationships with all major retailers.

Nāti Growth CEO Henare Walker says the investment reflects Nāti Growth’s disciplined approach to building a diversified portfolio capable of delivering sustainable long-term returns for Ngāti Porou.

Nāti Growth invests in Tend Health

Nāti Growth has invested in Tend Health, joining a group of leading iwi and New Zealand investors backing the growth of one of Aotearoa New Zealand’s largest primary healthcare networks.

The investment supports Tend Health’s acquisition of The Doctors, Green Cross Health’s medical division, comprising 65 medical clinics across New Zealand.

Nāti Growth joins Ngāi Tahu Holdings, Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei and Ahuahu Group, alongside other New Zealand investors in Tend Health, to support an important part of the country’s primary healthcare infrastructure.

For Nāti Growth, an important part of the investment is the opportunity to connect Ngāti Porou whānau with a healthcare model that is more accessible, flexible and increasingly digital.
